These terms are a placeholder and will be replaced with the final version before launch. They describe the agreement between you and PitchLab when you use the service at pitchlab.me.
1. The service
PitchLab writes personalized research-outreach emails to professors at a school you choose, based on their published work, and sends them from your own Gmail account with your authorization.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your Gmail authorization
You grant PitchLab permission to send email on your behalf through Google’s consent screen. You can revoke this at any time from your Google Account permissions. Revoking it stops any pending sends.
4. Payment and refunds
Each outreach batch is a one-time payment. If a batch fails to send because of a problem on our end, we will reprocess it at no charge or refund it in full.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use PitchLab only to contact professors about genuine research opportunities, and not for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
PitchLab does not guarantee replies or research positions. The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
